Synopsis: the story structure of William Deere's TV feature film is a bit like a variation of "the Miracle of 34 Street", creating a new idea for the Christmas movie. The plot describes Santa Claus driving a deer car to deliver presents on Christmas Eve, falling from mid-air in front of Peter, a TV news anchor. After this collision, Santa Claus suffers from amnesia and does not know his identity. Peter thinks the amnesia old man is a good news reporting material, while his girlfriend Carlisle pictured him playing Santa Claus in the department store where she works. Only Carlisle's seven-year-old son suspected that the old man in Santa Claus costume was the real Santa Claus. Leslie Nielsen, who starred in a series of nonsensical comedies, used more humane and down-to-earth acting skills to interpret Santa Claus in distress, which was very effective, funny and touching.
