In South Africa in the 1950s, it was the period when apartheid was implemented. The film tells the special emotion between the woman Miriam (Lisa Ray) and the woman Amira (Sheetal Sheth) in such a special era. Miriam's married life was not happy. She found out that her husband was cheating on her sister-in-law, so she could only endure it. Until Amira, dressed in jeans, appeared in her oppressive and strict life, the two beautiful women fell in love at first sight. Amira, with a rebellious spirit, was a firm opponent of apartheid, which was what attracted Miriam. This subtle and delicate emotion between the two women is in every flirtation at the fingertips and every gaze in their eyes. They transcend not only gender barriers, but also racial barriers. This film was adapted and filmed by director Shemim Salfer based on his own novel of the same name.
