The new film by French new director Antoine Husbach is the first of his social stage trilogy, which tells the story of an unemployed middle-aged uncle who is so depressed that he wants to commit suicide step by step. The script and the overall narrative rhythm are excellent, like a mixture of Stephen Bussey and the Danet brothers at the playwright and thematic level.
