By the suburban railroad in New York, the girl Ross (Zutifran Jodelle Ferland) sits in her daydream on a dilapidated motorcycle all day. She weaves Alice's itinerary with dolls around her, but the reality is different. Ross's father sings in a bar, earns a meagre income, is addicted to alcohol, and is a drug addict. Ross's mother was so fat that she died of a heroin overdose. In order to avoid the police and creditors, my father decided to take Ross away and move from New York to a farm in the country. On the way, Ross couldn't stand her father's bad habits, leaving only four broken Barbie dolls to play with her. Just when she felt that life was hopeless, a female neighbor Dale (Jenny McTill Janet McTeer), wearing a beekeeper veil, broke into her life. They also have a heart yearning for fairy tales. In the mutual support, the two men reconstructed the beautiful picture, but the good times did not last long, and a struggle began.
