The story takes place in a small detective office where the owner is a man named Jiang Taixi (Xue Jingqiu). Jiang Tae-suk, who used to be all-powerful in the police force, is also adept at being a private investigator. One day, Jiang Taixi accepted a commission to investigate the affair, but this seemingly ordinary commission completely broke Jiang Taixi's quiet life. When he came to the scene of the incident, Jiang Taixi, who thought it would be a beautiful scene, saw a dead woman appear in the field of vision, and the ensuing riots made him understand that he had fallen into a trap woven by someone. Jiang Taixi received a mysterious phone call, and the person on the phone told Jiang Taixi that if he wanted to regain his innocence, he had to follow his instructions, and Jiang Taixi's every move was in the eyes of this mysterious figure. In order to regain his freedom and to find out the truth of the incident, the escape belonging to Kang Tae-suk began.
