The magnificent California desert, the desolate "29 palm leaves" town. Indifferent freelance photographer David (David Watson David Wissak) and neurotic girlfriend Garcia (Yekaterina Globeva Yekaterina Golubeva). Along the way, they quarreled endlessly over trifles, and only crazy bestial sex could temporarily heal the near-collapse of the relationship. Quarrel, make love, heal, quarrel again, make love, heal, morbid four days and nights. Until a sudden violence ended it all in a man-eating desert. With its strong philosophical reflection, this film caused great repercussions at the Venice Film Festival in 2003, and was nominated for the Golden Lion Award for Best Picture at the Venice Film Festival that year.
