The story of the film is set in a village in the southern state of Georgia. Moon and his son live a peaceful life here, and one day their lives are completely changed. Moon's long-lost brother Deere's arrival led to a series of disasters. Moon's two sons had to run away from home in order to keep a terrible secret. About director David Gordon Green, born in 1975 in Arkansas, studied filmmaking at North Carolina School and directed several short films and documentaries. In 2000, his first feature film "George Washington" won the Discovery Award, and his second film, "All the Real Girls" in 2003, won the Special jury Award of the Sundance Film Festival for its true expression of emotion. Low tide is his third film. Since his first film, Green has been trying to find a new film language to shape and express.
