In a brightly lit bistro, TV host Luke (Hayden Christensen Hayden Christensen), secluded projector Paul (John Regizamo John Leguizamo), clinician Rosemary (Sandy Newton Thandie Newton) and 12-year-old black boy James (Jacob Lattimore Jacob Latimore) gather here. Chicago seems to be their last hope, and they must do everything they can to escape the engulfment of eternal darkness.
