Retired theatrical actors Morris (Peter O'Toole Peter O'Tour) and Ian (Leslie Phillips Leslie Phillips), who are in their twenties, live a dull life in London and occasionally go to Donald's (Richard Griffith) cafe for a drink to reflect on the good old days. Their quiet life was broken by the arrival of a girl. Jess (Jodie Whittaker Judy Whitaker), the daughter of Ian's niece, came to London from the north of England to look for a job and stayed in Ian's apartment. Jess is not used to life in London, and Ian has a headache for her grandniece. Morris rescued his old friend at the critical moment. He took Jessie on a tour of London, helped her find a job, and was deeply infatuated with the sensitive and shy girl. The film won the Best supporting Actor Award (Leslie Phillips) at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards.
