When "brainless" Lu Tu (Peng Yuchang) meets "unhappy" Ling Min (Li Gengxi), two young people who are seriously ill but have very different personalities, due to the "Relay of Life" agreement, embarks on a journey of healing full of love and strength. The film is the final chapter of director Han Yan's "Life Trilogy", and is partly based on the documentary article "The Most Utilitarian Marriage Deal, the Most Emotional Eternal Agreement."
