The story takes place during World War II, when American officer Ryan (Frank Sinatra Frank Sinatra) becomes a German prisoner and locked up in a prisoner-of-war camp in Italy, where more than 600 British prisoners of war are held. Ryan's wisdom and kindness soon won the support of the prisoners of war, and he became the first "leader" in the camp. Life in the camp was full of pain and oppression, and with the passage of time, in order to survive, people began to think of running away. However, the Germans were heavily guarded and it was not easy for them to escape, and the captives pinned their eyes and hopes on Ryan. With everyone's trust, can Ryan accomplish this almost impossible task? You know, if the plan fails, they will face only one outcome, and that is death.
