Kenya Barris, creator of the ABC comedy series Black-ish, will remake the 1992 basketball comedy White Men Can't Jump, which will also be produced by NBA Los Angeles Clippers player Blake Griffin and NFL Carolina Panther rugby player Ryan Kalil. The old Black and White Dragon tells the story of Sidney Deane, played by Wesley Snape (Wesley Snipes) and Billy Hoyle, played by Wood Harrison (Woody Harrelson), in partnership to play ball and gamble to cheat. Billy is white, and black street basketball players often think he can't play, so he loses the game lightly. The title of the film "White Men Can't Jump" is Sidney's words that tease Billy because he says he won't.
