White Plastic Sky

White Plastic Sky 6.7

The first animated feature film "White Plastic Sky" created by Hungarian dual directors Tibor Banocki and Sarolta Saab over a period of seven years describes that in the near future world, surviving humans can only live in greenhouse domes. Under, at the age of 50, they must be transformed into trees to allow the species cycle to continue. A wife couldn't bear the pain of losing her child and decided to transform into a tree early without her husband's knowledge. The husband, who loved his wife deeply, risked everything to embark on the journey of salvation. The video turns environmental concerns into a long poem about pursuing love. It uses real-life dynamic transliteration technology to add delicate characters and wonderful action scenes to the cold science fiction narrative. It uses real scenes and blends future imagination to create a psychedelic and cruel dystopian world. Not only was he nominated for the Anne Award for Best Independent Animated Feature, a special mention at the Zagreb Animation Film Festival, and a silver medal at the Strasbourg Fantasy Film Festival, it also attracted major film festivals to compete for invitations and screenings.
