Wild Blood

Wild Blood 6.2

At dawn on April 30, 1945, five days after the liberation of Italy, two bloodstained bodies of a man and a woman were found on the outskirts of Milan. There were two signs on the body with the names of the dead: Oswaldo Valenti and Louisa Frieda, who were shot by guerrillas a few hours ago. During Mussolini's reign, Oswaldo Valenti and Louisa Felida were famous movie stars and loyal fascists. Their glamorous private lives are as popular as their roles in the movies. As the main actors, the celebrity couple starred in Mussolini's government-backed film White phone. In the play, they play the hooligans who seduce women and the depraved women who lose their souls. These profligate roles, which unabashedly demonstrate the tendency of anarchism, have aroused the indignation of the Italian petty bourgeoisie. Marco Tullio Giodana takes us through the war through the tragic fate of an actor and couple who compromised to Mussolini's regime. Please don't miss the last subway to Rome.
