Young director Francis McGonagall (Mehdi Belhaj Kacem) plans to make an anti-drug film about a woman who is addicted to being unable to extricate herself and eventually leads to destruction. He accidentally met Lucy (Julia Faure Julia Frey), a girl who studied acting on the road. They fell in love at first sight, and Francis decided to use Lucy to play the heroine in the film. However, there is a problem with the financing of the film. Francis was hit hard by several successive producers who returned the script for various reasons. Finally, someone agreed to invest in filming, but ironically, investors offered to ask Francis to help transport drugs. This film won the jury Award of the 2001 Venice Film Festival.
