Alex (in é s Efron) is born androgynous. He has both male and female sexuality, but has always been raised as a girl by his parents. He lives with his parents in a seaside town far from the city. As Alex grew up, his mother wanted him to remove his penis and become a complete girl. So without consulting her husband, she invited a family of surgeons to her home, hoping to persuade Alex to undergo the operation. The surgeon's youngest son, Alvaro (Mart í n Piroyansky), is gay. When he first met Alex, Alex invited him to have sex with him. Alvaro refused at first, but then followed Alex into the cabin by the sea, and then Alvaro discovered Alex's secret.
