Joel McHale, the lead actor of the League of useless Wood, will lead FOX's half-hour workplace one-shot comedy. The play is co-created by Bob Fisher, the creator of Moody's and Rob Greenberg, and Dan Sterling, the screenwriter of "chasing the Queen". As the name suggests, the show will revolve around the daily work and life of a group of animal control officers, all of whom recognize the fact that animals are simple, but people are not. Joel will play Frank, a stubborn and eccentric animal control officer who may not have been to college but is still the most knowledgeable person in the room. As a former police officer, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department that led to his dismissal. This may explain why he is so cynical and grumpy. Frank shows great ability in understanding animals, but in the face of his own kind. He may not be that proficient. "Crazy ex-girlfriend"Heather" Vella Lovell plays "Emily", an adorable but occasionally dull girl.
