The sci-fi series # 23 Lighthouse # Beacon 23 is scheduled for production by Spectrum and AMC. Spectrum has a first broadcast window of nine months, and then moved to AMC for broadcast. The play is adapted from Hugh Howey's short novel of the same name, which includes five short stories. Zak Penn, one of the screenwriters of player number one, is in charge of the screenplay, as well as the show's lead creator, executive producer and show operator. The series will be a combination of suspense thrillers and love stories. The story takes place in the darkest depths of space, where two people are trapped in a lighthouse at the end of the known universe.
