Greg Berlanti, who controls half of CW, worked with couple Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil to develop the DC hero drama "Black Thunderbolt Black Lightning". The role was created by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden. The role was originally won by FOX with a pilot production agreement, but now it has been transferred to CW and booked for the pilot. It is said that this is because FOX believes that the existing series, coupled with other previews, "Black Thunderbolt" will not be able to squeeze into the crowded schedule. This is not the first time CW has picked up a family's project, such as "River Valley Town Riverdale", which was originally a FOX project, "Supergirl Supergirl", which was taken over from CBS, and "Crazy ex-girlfriend Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" who is coming to Showtime.
