The unnamed new series, based on the comic book Sabrina's thrilling Adventure (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), was developed by Netflix and booked directly for two seasons, a total of 20 episodes. Will live in the same universe with CW's hit new drama River Valley Town, both of which are based on Archie comics. Sabrina is one of the most popular characters in Archie's comics, but she didn't appear in River Valley, and in September CW announced that she would develop her one-man show. The story focuses on the young witch Sabrina Spellman, who is half-human and half-witch, dedicated to fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and human lives. Full of supernatural, scary, magic, witchcraft and other elements, the style is similar to "Rosemary's Baby" and "Exorcist". Like River Valley, the production crew is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, directed by Lee Toland Krieger, Warner TV and produced by Berlanti Productions. THR sources reveal that it will be filmed back to back next year.
