Netflix teamed up with well-known Australian opera operator Tony Ayres ("A slap") and producer David Hyman ("Harry Potter" and "Gravity") to launch the thriller "Clickbait", which tells the story of "how our most dangerous and uncontrolled impulses are stimulated in the age of social media, and the growing separation of our real personality from our online personality." Ayres and Christian White are co-creators and producers of the series, Ayres is the operator, White screenwriter, Brad Anderson (sinner) is the lead director, and Matchbox Pictures, owned by NBC Universal, is also involved in the production, which will be filmed in Melbourne for a total of eight episodes.
