Sherlock Holmes: the basic deductive method, produced by CBS and adapted from the Sherlock Holmes series, moved from the heyday of the British Empire in the 19th century to the bustling New York of the United States in the 21st century. The story's Sherlock Holmes (Johnny Lee Miller Jonny Lee Miller), a former consultant to Scotland Yard (Scotland Yard), was sent to a New York rehabilitation center for compulsory detoxification because of drug addiction. His father hired Dr. Jon Watson Joan Watson (Liu Yuling Lucy Liu), who gave up his career due to medical malpractice, to prevent his son from relapsing. NYPD Inspector Gregson (Aidan Quinn Aidan Quinn) has worked with Holmes and is impressed by his abilities. When he learned that Holmes had come to the United States, he was invited to serve as a criminal case consultant for the NYPD. Watson was impressed by him because he saw his ability to handle a case, so the two decided to work together to do something.
