Emma is the last work published by Jane Austen. This version is a miniseries released by BBC in 2009. Emma Woodhouse (Lomara Garry Romola Garai) is rich, smart and beautiful, articulate and pretentious. She has made up her mind not to get married, but she has an interesting hobby-being a matchmaker. But every time her matchmaking is based on whims or impulses, it often ends in failure. And Emma's intervention in other people's marriage has aroused the dissatisfaction of her family's old friend Knightley (Johnny Lee Miller Jonny Lee Miller). He warned her that she should let both lovers handle marriage affairs on their own, and that other people's intervention would only mess things up. This also led Emma to reflect on his behavior. In the process of getting along with Knightley, Emma discovered the glowing spot on him. In the end, although Emma did not set up a couple, he and Knightley fell in love and tied the knot.
