The story of the play takes place in the world of the Black robed pickets, part of college life and part like the Hunger Games. At the only American university run by Vought International that targets teenage superheroes, students are not born with superheroes. They are the first superheroes to know about compound V and gain power through injection. These are hormonal, competitive young heroes who challenge their physical and moral boundaries in order to compete for the highest ranking that the school dreams of. They soon realized that ambition was accompanied by sacrifice and that the distinction between right and wrong was not as clear as they once thought. When the dark secrets of the university are exposed, students must figure out what kind of heroes they want to be.
