The film revolves around resourceful Los Angeles detective Rick Hunt (Fred Durrell Fred Dryer) and his tacit female partner Didi McCall (Stephanie Kramer Stepfanie Kramer), telling the story of Los Angeles detectives defending the city's security. Hunter's style of doing things seems to be unorthodox, but often by surprise, together with the equally shrewd and capable beautiful detective McCall, he has cracked one troublesome case after another.
