The play is adapted from Yan Mingjun's cartoon of the same name. It tells the story of a Buddhist college student Yoji Minamaru (Yoshita Hosoda) who spends his life in vain. He accidentally discovers that he has a seemingly useless superpower-he can "pierce holes" in any object. Yoji Minamaru's friends always affectionately call him "Little Maru", who is harmless to humans and animals. In his seemingly unchanging life, Minamaru also finds himself involved in a horrific disaster that may destroy the world. Only his seemingly useless superpower can help him overcome this crisis.
