HBO's fictional epic Age, developed and written by Julian Fellowes, the creator of Downton Abbey. The show is set in a period when great changes have taken place in the American economy. The story begins in 1882 about the young orphan Marian Brook (Louisa Jacobson), the daughter of a southern general who lives in the New York home of traditional aunts Agnes van Rhijn (Christine Baranski) and Ada Brook (Cynthia Nixon). Peggy Scott (Denn é e Benton), a mysterious but talented African-American woman, disguises herself as Marian's maid.
