Adapted from the book written by Sona Sharapotra and Donnell Clayton, the book, set against the background of an elite ballet academy, records the ups and downs of a group of displaced young people who are on the brink of success or failure. Archie Ballet College is the only elite dance school in Chicago and the corporate school of City Works Ballet, a famous professional company in the city. Aceh College is an oasis for all kinds of dancers: rich and poor, northerners and southerners, and people from different backgrounds. However, all of them have a rare talent for dancing and a sense of passion and loyalty to the community. And on the road of pursuing their dreams, they have no way out.
