The show will focus on counter-terrorism policing and the excellent work of the Metropolitan Police bomb disposal team. The story tells of a terrorist campaign in the summer that threatened the security of the capital, and the dismantlers were busy at the forefront of emergency operations to find out who was behind the explosion before the number of casualties increased. Vicky McClure plays frontline police officer Lana Washington,Adrian Lester as Joel Nutkins. The two men, both former soldiers, served together in Afghanistan and are close to each other. They are now bomb disposal personnel, known as "Expos/ hands down".
