Chuck Lorre, who owns "Mom", "Sheldon Young Sheldon" and "Bob Bob Hearts Abishola" in CBS, has developed a new play for CBS, this time in conjunction with David Goetsch and Maria Ferrari in charge of the multi-scene comedy "The United States Of Al," in which Marine veteran Riley retires and lives in Ohio, while Afghan Awalmir, who works as an interpreter in the protagonist's army, also comes to the United States to start a new life.
