The story takes place in Kobe, which is adjacent to the sea. At the top of the ramp, there is an old western building with a maverick tailor Shijiang (Meiji Nakatani). Shijiang runs a tailor's shop inherited from her grandmother, who adheres to the idea of "sewing clothes for people that can be worn for a lifetime". Every stitch condenses the painstaking efforts and soul of the producer. Shijiang walked meticulously along her grandmother's path, who was keen to change the size of clothes handed down from generation to generation, while refusing to brand the craft. Fujii (Miura Guida), a staff member of the local department store, came to visit again and again, hoping that Shijiang would authorize the clothing to go to market. Perhaps out of respect for his grandmother, perhaps because of his devotion to this craft, or because of his faint unease and fear, Shijiang has been unable to take this important step for a long time. This film is adapted from the original work of the same name of the pool side sunflower.
