Adapted from Robert Pan Warren's Pulitzer-winning novel the King's hand, it won Best Picture at the 22nd Academy Awards, with actor Broderick Crawford and actress Marsetis McCambridge winning Academy Awards and supporting Actress respectively. The plot describes the righteous journalist Jack Burton to interview Willie Stark, who is running for county cashier director in Kenoma County. Stark is an enterprising and loving man, but he fails. Later, he became governor after running for office twice. However, Stark, who became governor, began to abuse his power, causing Congress to impeach him, while the lawless Stark launched a mass demonstration and won. At a time when democracy, freedom and the law could no longer be subdued, the son of his framed opponent ended his life with violence and shot him outside parliament. This film is the first political film to win a grand prize in Oscar history. Boldly analyze the political form of American politicians, and even impolitely point out that the blind support of the masses is the main reason for politicians' abuse of power.
