The story takes place in 1723, when vampires and humans coexist. As the king of vampires, Kagan (Ben Kingsley Ben Kingsley) drives out all human beings with his powerful strength and evil nature. those humans who have not yet become vampires' midday food can only hide in the city of sulfur like ants.
