The 12-year-old boy Koichi Ishida (Fashi Ishida) and his sister Asako (Yoshiko Kada) once followed their mother Daozi (Yoshiko Kada) into a religious group called "Nirvana", where they not only donated all their possessions, but also faced a life separate from their mother. Soon after, Nirvana brewed poison gas, and several cadres, including Daozi, became wanted overnight. As soon as Guang is sent to a children's home in Kansai, her sister is taken to Tokyo by her grandfather (Shinagawa). One day, Guang ran away secretly, hoping to go to Tokyo to find his mother and sister. On the way, he inadvertently helped the girl who ran away from home due to domestic violence, named Yuxi (Meiyue in Gucun), and two peers with similar experiences traveled together, savoring all the tastes of real life along the way. This film won the Best New Artist Award at the 2006 Daily Film Award.
