The title of "measure a Man" is taken from Plato's famous saying: "measure a man by what he does when he has power" (The measure of a man is what he does with power). The plot tells the story of a middle-aged unemployed father struggling to find a job. After a variety of humiliating interviews and training courses, he finally finds a job as a supermarket guard he hates, but has the supreme power to spy on customers and peers. But he was forced to find out the thieves who stole in the supermarket, and these people were people like him who had no future. This is the third time that Vincent Linton has worked with director Stephen Bussey. Except for Vincent Linton, the other actors in the film are all plain people, which makes the film show a different dramatic power from the past, and is regarded as Stephen Bussey's best work so far.
