Yumiko (Makiko Jiangjiao) when she was a child, Grandma always ran away from home, determined to go back to the countryside from the city to die old, and once never returned. Later, Yumiko married and had children, living a poor but happy little life, and one day her husband Yufu (Tadashi Asano) left unexpectedly. After Yumiko was widowed for a few years, she took her young son and married Minxiong (played by Koji Naito), a remote village near the mountain and the sea. From then on, he lived a stable and happy simple life, day after day. But in her heart, there has always been an indelible question buried, she does not understand why Yu Fu committed suicide. A series of accidents made Yumiko run away from home and came to the seaside. Minxiong chased her to her side and answered the lingering questions of Miko.
