Two brothers spend the day driving around Los Angeles county looking for the meaning of their lives, or cheap street drugs, depending on who you happen to believe long journeys may make strangers familiar, or may allow long-estranged relatives to re-establish trust and affection. In the film passengers, Scott and his brother Toby become estranged because they haven't been in touch for a long time. It's Scott's birthday, and he decides to drive to pick up Toby to celebrate together. Along the way, they encountered a series of incidents such as flat tires, sexual encounters, and even robberies. In this dramatic journey, the two brothers face these unexpected events together, and gradually regain their long-lost affection in the midst of adventure and laughter.
