Nikolai Koster-Waldo will star in the dark comedy Small Crimes, directed by Ivan Kaiser and written by Macon Blair. The film is based on David Chiltzman's novel of the same name and tells the story of a police officer who has been jailed for six years for attempted murder. The film will be pre-sold at the Cannes Film Festival, filming begins this summer and is expected to be released in 2017.
