Mickey Locke's new boxing film "Tiger" is scheduled for release in North America on Nov. 2, focusing on the boxer Pardeep Nagra, who refused to shave because of Sikhism and was banned from the Canadian boxing tournament. He challenged the beard ban and a Canadian court ruled in his favor in 2000. Alister Grisson ("the Abyss" and "Kokoda") is directed, Plame Singh plays Nagra, Locke plays Nagra's head coach and mentor Frank Donovan, Janel Parrish plays Nagra's lawyer, and Michael Puglish plays Nagra's opponent.
