Alex (Luke Wilson Luke Wilson) is a failed writer whose debt collectors teach him a lesson and smash down the computer he uses to make a living and warn him that his life is in danger if he doesn't pay off his debts within a month. Fortunately, Alex already had what he thought was an ingenious idea, but without a computer, he had to hire a stenographer Emma (Kate Hudson Kate Hudson) to help him with his creation. Unexpectedly, Emma turned out to be a stubborn woman. She would always raise objections of one kind or another to Alex's narration. What makes Alex crazy is that Emma's idea seems to be correct and interesting. In this way, in the midst of contradictions and quarrels, Alex's novel creation is going on smoothly.
