In 1945, World War II was coming to an end. Berlin, the heart of the third Reich, was reduced to ruins by the fierce Allied offensive, and thousands of Soviet soldiers poured into the decadent city after a brief exchange of fire. The German people hiding under the bunker obediently stepped out of the ground under the deterrence of rifles, and the sins committed by men were transferred to women. Countless women were raped, but not a single Soviet officer came forward to stop it. She (Nina Hoss Nina Hoss is acted the role of), is one of this group of humiliated German women, her husband is far in the front, life or death is uncertain, fear and helplessness, she can only endure humiliation again and again. She committed herself to a Soviet officer in order to survive in this adversity. This film is based on the diary works of German female journalists of the same name.
