Every year on Christmas Eve, the gift from Santa Claus is the greatest expectation of children all over the world. Today, Santa Claus keeps pace with the times. Active Santa Malcolm (voiced by Jim Broadbent) flies around the world with thousands of elves in the state-of-the-art S1 aircraft on Christmas Eve, delivering gifts to hundreds of millions of children. His eldest son, Steve (Hugh Laur ie), sits in the central control room at the North Pole, directing gift distribution through state-of-the-art equipment. Steve, who believes in technology, firmly believes that he will be Santa Claus next year, but his father is old and strong and has no intention of retiring. Unfortunately, a little girl living in a county in England did not receive a gift this year. Arthur (James McAvoy), whom her father called a troublemaker, couldn't bear the girl's disappointment, so he and his old grandfather, the previous generation of Santa Claus (Bill Nighy), embarked on the journey of replenishing gifts in a sleigh sealed in a warehouse.
