Bill (Alan Eckhart Aaron Eckhart) doesn't know how his life has come to this. In the bank run by his father-in-law, he is an inconspicuous and hopeless clerk. In what should be a warm and happy family, his wife Jess (Elizabeth Banks Elizabeth Banks) does not care about his depression, but has an affair with news anchor Chip (Timothy Olyphant). And look at himself, with his huge belly and uneasy hairline, everything has made him lose his expectations for life. By chance, Bill meets the mysterious teenager (Logan Leman Logan Lerman) and the gorgeous lingerie salesman Lucy (Jessica Alba Jessica Alba). With their encouragement and help, Bill regains his confidence and decides to make a radical change from the inside out.
