A German actor travels to Africa and hires an old black man to steer a canoe and lie leisurely in a riverbed overgrown with weeds. Unexpectedly, when he woke up, the old boatman was out of breath. He couldn't row out when he got lost, and he lost the dead body. A romantic drifting travels turns into an entanglement of tribal curses and ghostly consciences. With a fable, the director mocks some kind of fantasy amorous feelings of urban people on the African continent; "the troubles of Young Goethe," nearly half of the one-man show by German handsome Alexander Flynn is superb.
