In 1945, the Second World War was coming to an end, and Japan, as an important member of the axis of evil, had become an arrow of strength. That year, the Battle of Okinawa, which decided the course of the war, kicked off. Thousands of high-spirited American soldiers were sent to Okinawa. What awaited them was the extremely dangerous Hacksaw Ridge, which was heavily guarded by the enemy. Among the group was a military doctor who was unwilling to take up arms.
