Writer Carlos Karast has long focused on the research work of Ernest Hemingway, a famous American novelist, in which Hemingway's experience in Brazil was so complicated that he was so anxious that he even forgot his birthday. Shortly after that, he visited a familiar secondhand bookstore and received a shabby manuscript from a stranger who claimed to be a friend of the owner. A preliminary investigation found that the manuscript "Darkness of Havana", written in Spanish, was most likely written by Hemingway himself. The book describes a murderous murder that took place in a house, so that Carlos has to be associated with real-life cases. Encouraged by his friend John and his girlfriend Karen (Carolina Ravassa), the trio set off for Cuba. In the course of the investigation, Carlos seemed to be getting closer and closer to the dark truth, but he also found himself being led to destruction by the existence of terror.
