The story takes place in a remote village in France, where all the people rely on their doctor Jean-Pierre (Francois Cruise). Jean-Pierre worked seven days a week, serving the villagers day and night. Now, however, the doctor himself is ill. Natalie (Mariana Denicol) from the big hospital becomes Jean-Pierre's assistant. However, can Natalie adapt to rural life and eventually become the "irreplaceable" replacement of Jean-Pierre in the eyes of the villagers?
