In the summer of 1950, Marco (Moreno D'E Bartolli), a six-year-old boy in Sarajevo, often saw adults behaving cautiously in addition to companions and football. Father Misa (Miki Manojlovic is acted the role of) is flirtatious, has an affair with a female PE teacher but has no intention of breaking up his family, the life of a family of four is warm and calm. Soon after, Malk's father was taken away, and Misa was investigated by his uncle for his inappropriate remarks and sent to the mine to reform through labour. His father left on the day that Malk was circumcised, and his mother told Malk that his father had gone on a business trip. My father's mining career was finally over, and the family of three moved to the small town of Zvornik to be reunited with his father. After working in the small town, the father returned to the habit of stealing food, and Marco met a new partner-the doctor's youngest daughter Martha. But the return to Sarajevo is still a long way off. At the local National Day ceremony, Malke was chosen as the Young Pioneer to present the gift. As a result, Malke also said the wrong thing when he came to the stage. The film won the Palme d'Or and Phoebe Award in 1985.
