The documentary, directed by Manuel Alcala ("the Museum"), co-produced by Gerardo Gatika ("I'm not here", "the miserable Jungle"), Inna Pajan ("La Jaula de Oro") and Louis Salinas, with Daniel Ximenes Cacho as a narrator, tells the life story of investigative journalist Manuel Buendia. In 1984, Boondia was brutally killed outside his office in Mexico City. The feature-length documentary, filmed 35 years after Boondiya's death, brings together the voices of his contemporaries to show what Boondiya has done, and through these testimonies raises a question: who killed Manuel Buendiya, and what was TA's motive?
