This film is adapted from a real event. In 1933, the robber John Dillinger (Johnny Depp Johnny Depp) and his accomplice John Hamilton (Jason Clark Jason Clark) broke out with arms and successfully rescued members of the robbery gang from the Indiana prison, including "pretty Boy" Freud (Channing Tatu Channing Tatum), "Baby face" Nielsen (Stephen Graham Stephen Granham) and so on. And hide in the farmhouse of corrupt policeman Martin (John Mike Bogg John Michael Bolger). Martin persuaded Dillinger to hide in Chicago and seek gang protection.
